Its activity is financed by the Research and Technology Innovation Fund. Earlier, incorrectly filled forms posed a problem, but from now on, if there is incorrect information entered, students immediately get an e-mail or a text message with their password and identification code, so they can easily correct the wrong data through a secure channel. -
March 29, 2006The student card is a VISA card size polycarbonate flat which contains the photo, signature and personal data of the owner, the identification number of the card, elementary school / high school / university(ies) attended and a hologram of the type of course (full-time/part-time student, correspondent student, etc.). The higher education card incorporates a chip as well. The data on these cards are engraved via laser technology. So the Hungarian student card has become the world's first, country-wide used card integrated with a chip. -
